Removing Instructors

As a Flight School Admin, you can remove the Instructor role from a user at any time through the Manage Users section. This does not delete the user's account — it simply removes their instructor permissions.


Step 1 — Navigate to Manage Users

From the left-hand navigation menu, click Manage Users.


Step 2 — Select the Instructors Tab

At the top of the user list, click the Instructors tab to filter and view only instructor accounts.


Step 3 — Open the User's Profile

Find the instructor you want to remove and click on their name to open their profile.


Step 4 — Click the Edit Button

In the top-right corner of the user's profile card, click the pencil (edit) icon to open their editable profile.


Step 5 — Remove the Instructor Role

In the Roles section, you will see the Instructor badge. Click on it to deselect/remove the Instructor permission from the user.


Step 6 — Save the Changes

Save the changes to confirm the role removal. The user will no longer appear in your Instructors list and will lose instructor-level access.


Note: Removing the Instructor role does not delete the user or their course progress. They will remain in the system as a standard user unless further action is taken.
